Before you begin selling your products on our platform, we kindly ask that you review and agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a positive experience for both sellers and customers, and to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of the FarmHub marketplace.

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process. Misrepresentation of your farm, products, or business could lead to account suspension or termination.
  • Legal Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of your products. This includes food safety standards, labeling requirements, and any certifications such as organic or fair trade.

2. Product Listings

  • Honest Descriptions: All product listings must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading. This includes details on product quality, origin, certifications, and pricing.
  • Product Availability: You are responsible for ensuring that the products you list are available for sale and can be delivered within the specified time frames.

3. Pricing and Fees

  • Transparent Pricing: You must set prices that reflect the true value of your products and include any relevant taxes, where applicable.
  • Transaction Fees: You agree to the FarmHub transaction fee of 4.5% per sale. This fee will be automatically deducted from your earnings.
  • Subscription Plans: If you opt for a FarmHub subscription plan, you agree to the monthly fee and the benefits associated with that plan.

4. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

  • Timely Processing: Orders must be processed and shipped within the time frames specified in your product listings. Delays must be communicated promptly to customers.
  • Shipping Standards: You are responsible for packaging and shipping products in a way that ensures they arrive in good condition. You must use reliable shipping methods and provide tracking information where possible.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Clear Return Policy: You must clearly state your return policy on your storefront. This policy should detail the conditions under which returns are accepted, the process for returning products, and any restocking fees.
  • Customer Service: You are responsible for handling any customer inquiries, disputes, or complaints related to returns and refunds in a timely and professional manner.

6. Account Management

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your FarmHub account. Do not share your login credentials with others, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Account Activity: You agree to keep your account active by regularly updating product listings, responding to customer inquiries, and processing orders. Inactive accounts may be subject to review or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Original Content: You must own or have the rights to use all content (photos, descriptions, logos) that you upload to FarmHub. You grant FarmHub a non-exclusive license to use this content for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Trademark Compliance: You must not infringe on the trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property rights of others. Any such infringement could lead to legal action and account termination.

8. Sustainability and Ethical Practices

  • Commitment to Sustainability: FarmHub values sustainability and ethical farming practices. By joining our platform, you agree to uphold these values in your operations and to accurately represent any certifications or practices that you claim.
  • Transparency: You agree to be transparent about your farming practices and product origins. Customers have the right to know where and how their food is produced.

9. Liability and Disputes

  • Seller Responsibility: You are fully responsible for the products you sell, including their safety, legality, and quality. Any disputes arising from sales are to be resolved directly between you and the customer.
  • Limitation of Liability: FarmHub is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes that may arise from the use of our platform. We serve as an intermediary and provide the marketplace infrastructure.

10. Governing Law

  • Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Luxembourg. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg.

 By clicking "I Agree," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your FarmHub account.
